- Limited autonomy – what you do and who you work with is based on your role, rather than what’s important to you
- Limited alignment – what you do is controlled by external values such as money, status and corporate objectives rather than what is exciting for you
- Limited growth – you only acquire skills required for the role and for what management wants from you ,rather than what interests you the most

Find out more about Angela
I’ve always been fascinated about how people tick – so it wasn’t a surprise when I started my career in Human Resources. Whilst I enjoyed feeling responsible for the people agenda, I didn’t feel that I was making enough of a difference.
Through Human Resource focused projects, I transitioned into more strategic roles and leading behavioural change programmes. I loved giving employees a voice and the power to solve business problems. I found that empowering employees creates happier employees, delighted customers and soaring profits.
In Human Resource you are an advisor and I had always wanted to run a business myself. After studying an MBA, I moved into business leadership roles where I relished the challenge to build great profitable teams and grow careers.
Often as the only female on a management team, I wanted to help other women, and those who didn’t fit the typical talent profile, to maximise their career potential. This led me to deepening my coaching skillset.
It was a natural progression to take my business skills and my passion for helping corporate women to setting up my own business – to help women find a career with passion and purpose at it’s heart.
Outside of work, I’m a lifelong learner in all things psychology with a passion for finding the secrets to enable people reach their full potential. Spirituality is important to me and I’m a closet exercise junkie – currently my passion is a mix of functional weight and cardio training, swimming and yoga.
